It’s in the Details: Why Our Customers Choose Master Remodelers for their Design-Build Projects

stove-top-1597026_640.jpgAre you simultaneously excited and worried about your upcoming home remodeling project? When you entrust your home to a remodeling contractor, you never know if the final project will be exactly like you envisioned. Some design-build companies promise great things but don’t deliver, while others just don’t have the experience or expertise to undertake high-end renovations. Our customers choose us because we’re not only concerned about the big picture, but we’re also sticklers for getting the little details just right.

You Benefit from Our Focus on Perfection

There’s nothing worse than taking a tour of your newly renovated home and noticing things that weren’t done properly. A few drops of blue paint on your white baseboards or a loose fixture may seem like minor issues, but if your contractors missed these obvious issues, you have to wonder if there are issues you can’t see.

We obsess over the little details so you don’t have to worry about them. One of the more challenging aspects of renovating a home is ensuring that the addition or remodeled area looks as if it was always there. When we completed a two-story addition for a Mt. Lebanon couple, we made sure that the stone walls of the addition and the flagstones weren’t just similar to the existing stones, but matched them exactly. When you look at the house, it’s impossible to tell where the addition begins because the stone work is such a perfect match.

Only the Best Will Do

Our customers want homes that feature superior craftsmanship, high-end finishes and the finest grade materials. Getting every little detail just right requires real dedication and the tenacity to keep searching until you find the ideal product or solution.

A Wexford family recently asked us to create a home theater for them that was unlike any other project we’ve ever completed. They wanted an elegant space that was evocative of the grand old theaters of the past. We soon realized that an ordinary door to the room just wouldn’t make the right statement. Authenticity demanded that we recreate the tufted doors that were commonly used in theaters in the early part of the 20th century.

We conducted extensive research to figure out how to add tufting without weighing down the door and even consulted an upholsterer for advice. The finished product fits the theme of the room perfectly and adds an impressive dramatic touch.  Sure, we could have slapped a few coats of cherry stain on a run-of-the-mill door, but the space would have felt incomplete. We bring that same focus to every single project we work on.

We Really Do Know How You Feel

Have you ever had a bad experience working with a design-build company in the past? Maybe the work was substandard, or even worse, the contractor just disappeared in the middle of the project. We know how upsetting and frustrating it is to entrust your home to a professional who lets you down. In fact Regis McQuaide, our founder, got into the remodeling business after he realized that he could do a better job than the contractor he had hired.

We understand your concerns and act as your representative to ensure that every aspect of the project is completed to the highest specifications. Sloppy paint jobs, leaking pipes, countertops that are half an inch too short or sort-of-square corners are never acceptable in a Master Remodelers’ project.
